Mr. Nguyen Hong Sang, CFA®, CMA®, Founder of HSAcademy and Edtech-Kiwimi, and graduate of the Fulbright Vietnam Economics Scholarship Program.
In 2012, Mr. Sang established KiWiMi intending to become Vietnam's leading CFA training center and extend its reach throughout Asia, following the models of international professional training schools. As a testament to his success, KiWiMi has been recognized as a CFA Preparation Provider by the CFA Institute, USA, in 2022.
With over ten years of experience teaching the CFA program, Mr. Sang has consistently maintained an average passing rate of over 90% for the CFA Level 1 exam at KiWiMi (global average rate is 35%, data as of November 2023 of CFA Institute).
Mr.Sang's teaching philosophy revolves around the idea that "simplicity is the pinnacle of sophistication". He inspires learners with his training methods, encouraging them to think critically about the root of the problem and develop an analytical framework. By using simple and authentic examples to explain complex concepts, Mr. Sang helps students fully grasp important knowledge in investment finance.
My childhood was associated with martial arts novels by writer Kim Dung. In my mind, I envision wonderful martial arts moves associated with many heroic characters. Over time, I began to know the difference between right and wrong and love and righteousness.
During high school, although I always had good academic results, I knew I was not too smart compared to other students. I try to remember as much knowledge as possible in my head, but I gradually realize that this only makes me feel tired, I cannot store it in memory for a long time and it is difficult to easily use it when needed.
A running idea in Kim Dung's story is to resist coercion and excessive possession. When a person does not really understand the nature of the problem, he will try to grasp as many things as possible to help him gain more confidence in winning. However, when he meets a real master or when learning requires absorbing more problems, he will struggle to cope and will likely fail.
I realized that learning is essentially to develop thinking and the best way to learn is to learn to clearly understand the nature of the problem and relate it to reality. From there, I studied much more effectively and helped me, even with less resources, pass the 3 CFA exams the first time.

With Kim Dung's martial arts novels, the word "martial arts" is not as important as the word "hieu", learning martial arts is to practice chivalry and righteousness. Since I started teaching CFA in 2012, I have built for myself a teaching philosophy: promoting essence over form, increasing the internal strength of learners so that they are truly more valuable and can succeed. succeed in their profession using their own abilities. I lecture without going into the cliché of the framework, like the philosophy of not being strict with moves, using no moves to overcome the right moves of liberal heroes like Doc Co Cau Bai and Phong Thanh Duong. To me, simplicity is the pinnacle of self-essence.
